Writer's picture: Ward 7Ward 7

Updated: Oct 16, 2024

From Saturday, October 12 (start of service) to Monday, October 14 (end of service), there will be no Red Line CTrain service between Brentwood and 7 Street/8 Street stations due to scheduled maintenance.

CTrain Service Adjustments:

  • Northwest-bound passengers: The Red Line will terminate at Brentwood Station. If you’re traveling downtown or south, transfer to the Red Line Replacement Shuttle or Express Replacement Shuttle at Brentwood, and re-board the Red Line at 8 Street Station to continue southbound.

  • Southbound passengers: The Red Line will terminate at 7 Street Station, where it will turn around at Downtown West/Kerby. To continue north, transfer at 7 Street to the Red Line Replacement or Express Replacement Shuttle, and re-board the train at Brentwood.

Replacement Shuttle Services:

  • Red Line Replacement Shuttle: Provides station-to-station service between Brentwood and 7 Street/8 Street stations. See picture below for routing and stops.

  • Red Line Express Replacement Shuttle: Nonstop service between Brentwood and 7 Street/8 Street, with stops at Downtown West/Kerby, 8 Street, and 7 Street. See picture below for details.

Football Express Shuttle:

For those attending the game on Saturday, October 12, a Football Express Shuttle will operate between 7 Street/8 Street Stations and McMahon Stadium (Stop No.5403). It will run from 11:00 to 13:00 (pre-game) and 14:30 to 16:30 (post-game).
